 Wuxi TRUMY has the ability to continually develop and test special couplings for different industries. Backed by more than 30 years of dry coupling manufacturing experience, the company has developed a new generation of locomotive couplings for the rail transit industry. Dynamic fatigue test benches and continuous torque slip test benches with complete range of models and wide coverage are used for product verification in conjunction with advanced simulation analysis methods, to provide users with transmission products of very high reliability and safety. Special anti-corrosion measures are adopted to extend the product maintenance cycle and reduce extra cost of maintenance and downtime.

3 . Product application presentation (I) — Flexible disc couplings for locomotives

(1)Applications

  • Four-bolts , for monorail urban rail transit vehicles, connecting traction motor and reduction gearbox;

  • Six-bolts, for train locomotives and wagons, connecting traction motor and reduction gearbox;

  • Eight-bolts, for magnetic direct-driven locomotives and wagons, connecting traction locomotive wheel pairs;

(2)Product features

  • Reliable anti-loose locking fasteners

Special anti-loose structure is adopted for different structures, and the reliable effect can ensure safe connection.

  • Face gear connection

Face gear connection is used for six bolts  and eight  bolts  laminated flexible couplings, to realize shaft-through structure with separable spacer shafts, greatly increasing the radial compensation of couplings. 

  • High compensation value

Six bolts and eight bolts flexible  disc couplings feature large angular compensation, much higher than that of other flexible disc couplings of the same size and type. 

  • Torque overload protection

Torque overload protection is adopted for six-pass and eight-pass laminated flexible couplings, to effectively ensure safe operation of equipment under overload torque status.

4. Product application presentation (II) — Diaphragm flexible couplings for locomotives

  • Applications

Diaphragm flexible couplings are in single diaphragm structure, and can be used in low deck rail transit vehicles, to connect traction motor and reduction gearbox. 

  • Product features

 In addition to support the half weight of motor rotor, the diaphragm flexible couplings also restrict its axial position, and withstand the vibration and impact from the motor rotor in operation. They are designed with torque overload protection device, to avoid transmitting excessively high torque to the gearbox in case of motor short-circuit, to ensure the safety of gearbox. 

5  Product application presentation (III) — Gear type couplings for locomotives

  • Applications

      Normally they are used in powered cars in metro and railway, connecting traction motor and reduction gearbox.      

  • Productfeatures

The couplings are in special drum shaped gear structure, to compensate for very big axial, angular and radial misalignment between the motor shaft and gearbox input shaft while transmitting power in operation.

3 产品应用介绍(一)——机车用叠片挠性联轴器

(1)应用场合

a)四孔型,用于单轨式城市轨道交通车辆,联接牵引电机与减速箱;

b)六孔型,用于火车机车车辆,联接牵引电机与减速齿轮箱;

c)八孔型,用于永磁直驱机车车辆,联接牵引电机与机车轮对;


(2)产品特点

  a)可靠的紧固件防松方式

       针对不同的结构采取特殊的防松结构,可靠的效果可以保证连接的安全性。

  b)端面齿联接

       六孔型和八孔型叠片挠性联轴器采用端面齿连接,从而使间隔轴可分离,实现了穿轴结构,大大增加了联轴器的径向补偿量。

   c)高补偿值

        六孔型和八孔型叠片挠性联轴器的角向补偿大,远高于同规格类型的其他叠片挠性联轴器。

   d)扭矩过载保护装置

        六孔型和八孔型叠片挠性联轴器均采用了扭矩过载保护装置,有效保证了在扭矩过载状态下设备的使用安全。


4 产品应用介绍(二)——机车用膜盘挠性联轴器


(1)应用场合

膜盘挠性联轴器为单膜盘结构,可以用于低地板城市轨道交通车辆,联接牵引电机与减速齿轮箱。

(2)产品特点

该膜盘挠性联轴器除了要支撑电机转子一半重量外还限制了其轴向位置,承受运动过程中电机转子带来的振动与冲击。设计有扭矩过载保护装置,能够避免电机短路时将过大的扭矩传递给齿轮箱,从而保证齿轮箱的安全。


4 产品应用介绍(三)——机车用齿式联轴器


(1)应用场合

一般应用于地铁和动车的动力车辆,联接牵引电机与减速齿轮箱。

(2)产品特点

该联轴器采用特殊的鼓形齿结构,在传递功率与运动的同时可以补偿电动机轴与齿轮箱输入轴之间极大的轴向、角向和径向不对中。
